The waterfall is located next to the national road N-541 that links Ourense with Pontevedra, at kilometre 69. It is located after passing the parish of Pedre in the direction of Pontevedra, and can be seen from the road. This waterfall can be found in the Os Cabaleiros stream, a tributary of the Lérez that rises in Corredoira and, after a short course with several waterfalls and pools in granite terrain, falls into the Lérez river.
