Description

The Torrillón waterfall is located on the Rigueira river where, despite its short route, there are many waterfalls and small rapids. The Rigueira River flows into the rego de Lago to reach the Cantabrian Sea, between Punta Muiñeiro and Punta Corveiro, next to the Alcoa factory.

In the vicinity of the waterfalls we can also visit the church of San Miguel de A Rigueira, which dates from 1616. One of the most famous pilgrimages in the Mariña Lucense is held there, every July 13, in honor of San Antonio Venturero.
