The Fecha Carneira waterfall is located on the Salgueiros stream, a tributary of the Salas river.

There are several ways to approach her. You can go down from Xermeade (Muíños town hall), cross the river and take the track that goes up to Salgueiros. Another way to get there is by following the road to Prado, where you cross the bridge over the Salas river and turn off along a track that is marked out to the Salgueiros stream. The water has to overcome a great difference in level to reach the Salas River and falls between large granite rocks, giving rise to numerous waterfalls that form small natural pools.

The highest waterfall is about 10 meters high.
