From Mosteiro we take the diversion to San Tomé de Nogueira until we reach the village of Arcos. From the recreational area, we will go down to the river. The waterfalls can be found in the Santo Tomé stream, a tributary of the river Canón, a subsidiary of the Umia river. The river flows down from the Castrove mountain and in the area of San Tomé de Nogueira drops down a slope over granite rocks with several chained waterfalls of low height. There is no signposting.
