To see them, we will take the EP-2202 road linking Loureza with Burgueira. After crossing the Tamuxe River, we will leave the car. There is already a signpost and a path leading down to the river. These natural pools can be found in the Tamuxe, Carballo or Carballal river, a tributary of the Minho river, which flows down from the Argalo and A Groba mountain ranges, excavating a deep canyon in granite rocks, forming numerous pools along its course.
