The Corga do Poleiro waterfall, also called Fervenza do Fragoso, is located in the stream of the same name. It is one of the headwaters of the river Fragoso or Grou (subsidiary of the river Limia). The river cascades from a large drop in the area of Parada do Monte (Lobeira) and gives rise to a succession of waterfalls and rapids through the Laboreiro mountain range. To see the waterfall, we must take the road from Lobeira (A Vila) to Bande, where we will take the junction to Parada do Monte and, from there, continue towards Senderis. Cross the river and, from there, we will continue on foot along a path not suitable for cars, which goes up the river on the left side. As we walk upwards, we will see the river Corga do Poleiro at the bottom of the valley, which forms a beautiful waterfall. It is difficult to see, however there is a viewpoint from where we can just about see the upper part of the waterfall.
