In Friol, in the second half of March, the annual Feira do Queixo e do Pan (Cheese and Bread Fair) is held with the aim of paying homage to and preserving the local tradition of cheese and bread making, as well as commemorating the ancient custom of the fairs that used to take place in the town of Friol.
