The Torez waterfall is located in the council of O Valadouro. It is located on the Penido Novo stream, which flows into the Bao River and later changes its name to finally be called Rio do Ouro and flows into the Cantabrian Sea near Foz.
Access to the waterfall is signposted and has been conditioned to facilitate the visit. We start from the village of Esqueira and we will cross it to find the signs to the waterfall, which is about 600 meters from the place where we can leave our vehicle.
The path crosses a wooden bridge to go up the river on the right bank. A few meters further on we will find a first small waterfall and, shortly after, we arrive at the Torez waterfall. surrounded by large ferns and old mills.
