The Nau river is born in the serra de Santa Eufemia mountain range and flows into the Limia river in the Lindoso reservoir.

To get to the starting point of the route we will go to the Casa da Escusalla, in the place of Compostela, Lobios town hall. Going along this small route on the banks of the Nau River, we will see its nine mills, some of them restored and all of them identified by name: das flores, de Carissa, Nuevo, de María...

The points where the mills are usually coincide with the places where the small waterfalls are located. It should not be forgotten that these mills used water as the driving force to grind the grain.

The highest waterfall is found next to the Carissa mill. It is a waterfall about 5 meters high that gives rise to a large natural pool.
