The Interpretation Centre for the Cultural Heritage of the Muíño do Pan de Baamonde restores an old mill as a tangible piece of ethnographic heritage. 

This space also helps to preserve and communicate an important aspect of Galician intangible heritage, reflecting the values, traditions, and anthropological, cultural, and social traits of a community—in this case, the world surrounding mills and the sociocultural context of Baamonde during the period in which it was active. 

Mill activity played a significant role in Galician culture, vernacular architecture, folklore, and the development of social and economic relationships.
