The building was built in 1879 by Alejandro Rodríguez Sesmero. It consists of seven individual buildings the facade of which is treated as one single building. The ground floor consists of a large plinth with continuous bolsters from which rise six grooved pilasters with Corinthian capitals. These pilasters reach up to the second floor and support the frieze, the cornice and the balustrade with its classical jars on pedestals. The centre of the building has a parapet and oculi, and above there is an attic with a large cane made of worked granite, from which hang symmetrical garlands. The facade breaks this uniformity, with four wrought iron and glass viewing points, located between pilasters. The whole building stands out for the profuse decoration of the protruding lintels above its windows, which give it a Rococo air.
