This building was built in 1901 by Manuel Felipe Quintana for Estanislao Durán. It is a beautiful urban mansion, located in the city centre. It is in an eclectic style, although there are French influences. It consists of a basement, two floors and a loft with attic rooms covered by a steep gambrel roof. There is a curved pediment decorated with scrolls at the sides and a parapet with a balustrade above a protruding cornice. On the corner, above the balustraded continuous balcony, there is a circular, tower-shaped object with semicircular arcading which extends above the roof. These arcades are supported on fluted Corinthian columns, and on top of the arcade there is a fish-scale patterned cupola.
