Regionalist eclectic-style building, it was erected in 1927 based on a design by the architect Adolfo de Cominges on the site previously occupied by the Casa de la Inquisición (18th century). Executed in granite masonry, it consists of a ground floor with large half-point openings and three floors. The two ends of the main facade are completed by crenelated towers.
