Museum on two sites. The first, situated in a 14th century building known as the Casa Gótica, presents an interesting collection that aims to explain the phenomena of the pilgrimages and the origins of the city of Santiago de Compostela. Distributed over eight rooms, you can see an important collection of paintings, silverware, jet, etchings, archaeological and ethnographic remains. The second site, inaugurated in 2012 after the modern renovation of the old Bank of Spain, will hold temporary exhibitions. The visits from the glazed cafeteria under the cathedral’s clock tower are unforgettable.
