This museum of sacred art, which is one of the most important in Galicia, shares its collection between the harmonious 13th-century cathedral and the Bishops? Palace (18th century). Its contents are varied: sculpture, painting, gothic imagery, liturgical clothing, and bishops? ornaments. It has recently been enlarged with rooms for old French painting, the history of printing in Mondoñedo, and Sargadelos china. New rooms are soon to be added to contain fabrics, antique embroidery, and archaeology.
