The building was erected in 1557. It has a square ground plan. Ground floor and two upper floors. Built in slate rubblework with corners reinforced with granite blocks. The main doorway is adorned with fluted columns supporting a decorated cornice. Two small windows flank the door. It has a shield in the centre of the facade. Made from marble, it shows a laurel wreath, a castle, a knight´s head and is crowned with an eagle.
