Description
The Porta de Fontelonga (1923) is the only remaining trace of the sea entrances into the walled enclosure that defended the town.
A low and wide stonework ramp descends from the door to the wide abutment arch that is joined to the wall at its lower base. There is also a fortified sentry box or tower in the wall which faces the sea.
