To get to this waterfall, head to the village of Vilardevós and take the OU-310 road from there towards Soutachao and continue on until the sign for the turn-off to the A Cidadella waterfall. Park up at the start of the trail to continue on foot.

The trail is well maintained and even has ropes on the stretches that may be slipperier when it rains.  A large part of the trail runs through riverside forest with a variety of tress, including oaks and strawberry trees. Stairs take you down the slope to the foot of the waterfall, which is about 30 metres high.
