In Fornelos de Montes we will take the PO-9303 road that will take us to A Airoa. Next to the last houses of the village, we will leave the car to take the path that goes down next to the Castro chapel and that will take us to an old stone bridge that crosses the Fonte Uceira stream. From there, we will take the stone path that goes up on the left-hand side to reach Portela da Brea, from where we will be able to see the waterfall. At this point we will find the only signpost on the route indicating the direction to follow to go down to the foot of the waterfalls. They are located on the Valdohome River, one of the headwaters of the Parada River. The highest one has a drop of about 8 metres. The route is not signposted.
