A MIÑA VIAXE
mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: FERVENZA DE VIEIROS&body=I recommend you read the information FERVENZA DE VIEIROS extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/210715000282/fervenza-de-vieiros?langId=en_US%26tp=40004330
In the village of A Seara, 1,000
metres up in the heart of the Serra do Courel mountains, lies the
starting point of the trail leading to the Vieiros waterfall. From A Seara head
down to the River Selmo and walk along the right bank among birch, chestnut,
and oak trees to an area where the path narrows and the sound of the water
grows louder, as a prelude to the sights just a short distance further on.
The final stretch has ropes tied to
the trees to help with the steep climb down leading to the foot of this
impressive 25-metre high waterfall. But if you want to see it up close, a
wooden bridge allows you to cross to the other side and get closer.
