A MIÑA VIAXE
mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: FREIXA DE LIÑARES&body=I recommend you read the information FREIXA DE LIÑARES extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/210819000424/freixa-de-linares?langId=en_US%26tp=40004330
To get to Liñares, start out from A Lama and take the Gaxate road from Pontecaldelas through Xende or start in Paradela and follow the mill channels. In Liñares continue on foot along a signposted trail to reach the waterfall.
The River
Oitavén, known as the Xesta at its headwaters, has its source in the Serra
do Suido mountains and forms several waterfalls after Liñares, including
the A Freixa, which flows through granite rocks surrounded by thick riverside
forests and oak woods and is located on the PR-G24 A Freixa hiking trail.
