This route is part of a longer one that runs through the lands of Brión. From the recreational area of Puente Pías—where we will find the facilities for canoeing in the waters of the Tambre river—we will follow the orange-marked buoys. There we will find an information panel with the route to follow. The first stretch will immerse us in a very beautiful oak grove that will protect us from the heat on sunny days, until we reach a junction where we turn right to approach the village of Ons. Here we will find several ethnographic samples, such as granaries, a wash house and a fountain. We will cross the place to take a signposted track that marks the path to the pozo Negro (Black Pool). A steep descent through oak trees will take us to the waterfall, in an environment of great beauty. We will pass a small wooden bridge and follow the path along the banks of the Tambre river until we reach the watermills and the junction we passed on the way there. From here we will return to Puente Pías (Pías bridge), where we will finish this circular route.
