In the parish of Codeseda, in the municipality of A Estrada, going towards Souto, we will pass the stream of Insuela, and in a curve to the right we will take a track to the left that will take us to the upper part of the place that ends in some meadows. Descending these meadows, we reach the river. Following its sound, we find the waterfall. There are other waterfalls downstream. The access is not signposted. The Insuela stream is one of the headwaters of the Fontefría river, a tributary of the Umia river.
