mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: PINCHEIRA DE PORTOMAO&body=I recommend you read the information PINCHEIRA DE PORTOMAO extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/211005000073/pincheira-de-portomao?langId=en_US%26tp=40004330
This waterfall flows over a 20-metre high slate rockface covered in ferns. It is on the Fervenza stream, in the parish of Santa Mariña do Monte. To get there from O Barco de Valdeorras, follow the N-536 towards Viloria and then continue on the OU-121 road towards Fervenza.
Cross through the village, pass by the church, and continue on a trail until you come to a sign that points to the way along a trail to the base of the waterfall.
From Fervenza to the pincheira
(the local name for waterfalls) is a 4km walk (out and back) but the route is
not difficult.
