Description
The As Forcadiñas waterfalls are located on the Chao de Requeixo river, a tributary of the Cabaleiro river, which in turn flows into the Salas river.
To get to them we take the OU-1206 road that connects Lobios with Cela. Once we have passed the place of Esperanzo, at km 9.8 we turn off along the road that goes to Gustomeao.
The first waterfall, which is about 7-8 meters high, can be seen from the same bridge over which we crossed the river with the car.
To see the upper waterfalls, which are about 150 meters from the road, we will have to take a path that goes up the left side of the river.
IMPORTANT: in the first stretch of ascent to the top we will walk along a path, but afterward we will have to use our hands to go up, very carefully, among the rocks.
