mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: FERVENZA DE SANTALLA &body=I recommend you read the information FERVENZA DE SANTALLA extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/211020000203/fervenza-de-santalla-?langId=en_US
An artistic and
literary trail dedicated to Fiz Vergara Vilariño passes through the Valley of
Lóuzara. This poet was born in the parish of Santalla in 1953 and died at the
age of just 44 due to a degenerative disease he had suffered from since
childhood. The Galician Language Writers' Association and the Ergueitos de
Sarria cultural body launched this 7km route, which is split into 13 stages
signposted with the works of other artists who wished to participate in this
tribute.
To reach the
waterfall, start out in Santalla de Abaixo and walk for just over a kilometre
to the waterfall. This path runs along the banks of the Lóuzara River, through
meadows and riverside woodland, and ends at the waterfall, which stands among
chestnut trees at a height of roughly 25 metres.
