To get there, we will take the road from Pontevedra to Ourense and in Cerdedo we will take the diversions to San Miguel de Presqueiras. We pass the village and continue towards Cerdedo until we cross the river. From the bridge upwards, there are already some waterfalls, but the highest and most impressive are downstream. The descent to the river is not easy. There is no road, no path and the slope of the terrain is steeper than 45º. You have to descend very carefully. It is advisable to do it sideways and with hiking poles. We find the waterfalls in the Carballas or Bidueiro river, a tributary of the O Castro river that flows into the Lérez. This small river flows down the northern slope of the Cando mountain range and has a course full of rapids, waterfalls, and canyons. The largest waterfall falls into a shale canyon embedded between 10 m high vertical walls. The route is dangerous.
