From the road linking Baiona with O Rosal (EP 2202), after Refoxos and before Loureza, after passing the bridge there is a path upstream on the right bank. The site is not equipped and is accessed by a path from the bridge across the river. To get a good view of these natural pools, it is necessary to pass over a small dam. The terrain is not complicated, although as it is rocky, care must be taken to avoid slipping. The River Tamuxe or Carballas rises in the A Groba mountain range in the municipality of Oia and flows into the River Miño in O Rosal. Near its source, the river forms small waterfalls and beautiful natural pools called Lourenza or Bogalleira, which are used for bathing in the summer.
