To get there, we will take the PO-252 road from Mondariz to Moscoso. At the church of San Salvador de Xunqueiras we leave the car and take the path that goes down to the Barragán river. This river is a tributary of the Oitavén, which rises in the Eiras reserve and flows through the lands of the municipalities of Mondariz, Pazos de Borbén and Fornelos de Montes. The route is not signposted.
