At A Castellana on the A Coruña-Lugo N-634 road, take the old road and then take the turn-off to the dam. Follow the power station canal, which runs alongside the river, to the following coordinates: 43.203826, -8.013727. You can drive this far, although there is only space for a couple of cars to park.

From here, if you want to go down to the river to see the waterfall, you have to walk down a very steep path.

This descent is only suitable for those with experience and, even so, is still difficult.

IMPORTANT: Walking poles are essential to help you both on the way down and back up.
