mailto:?subject=Content from Tourism of Galicia: FERVENZA DO RÍO ANTIGUA&body=I recommend you read the information FERVENZA DO RÍO ANTIGUA extracted from the Tourism of Galicia site on page https://www.turismo.gal/recurso/-/detalle/220405000109/fervenza-do-rio-antigua?langId=en_US%26tp=40004330
The river Antigua, a tributary of the river Cabe, starts near the Mesa de Los 4 Cabaleiros, located at the point where four towns of Lugo meet: O Incio, Samos, Folgoso do Courel and A Pobra do Brollón. This river has a long course which, interestingly, goes underground and emerges again close to the main waterfall.
To get to it and see the waterfalls that form along the way, we must take the LU-642 road from O Incio towards Folgoso do Courel. Shortly after crossing the river Cabe, we will take a detour to San Miguel, where we will leave the car to walk down to the river.
We will climb up the river Antigua until we see the two waterfalls and, above them, we will still be able to see the riverbed until it disappears out of sight. If we go down to the foot of the waterfall we will see how the water gushes from between the rocks.
