The Regueiro de Baluga, a tributary of the river Avia, forms a waterfall in the town of Avión with a total drop of 50 metres at several successive cascades.

To see it, we must take the road that zig-zags up a steep slope from Rodeiro, in the civil par-ish of Abelenda, towards the Serra do Suído, in the area of Mangoeiro. The waterfall can be seen from one of the bends in the road and we are not able to get any closer. We will have to pay close attention because it is not signposted.
