The Rabo da Besta stream is a tributary of the Grou river that flows into the Limia river and descends from the Laboreiro mountain range.

If we leave from Bande we will take the OU-1212 road in the direction of Lobeira and, when we get to the place of Santa Baia, we turn off to the OU-1216 in the direction of San Xes de Vilariño.

A little before arriving we will find the indicator to the Ruta das Mámoas and we take that road to travel about 350 meters until we reach a detour to the left that points to Queguas. From there we walk 1 kilometer to the river, cross it and continue along a path for cattle that rises with a great unevenness up the mountain.

IMPORTANT: it is a path that ascends with a very pronounced slope.
