The Sardín River is a tributary of the Avia River which, in the parish of Santa Mariña de Abelenda (Avión Town Hall) forms successive waterfalls up to 25 meters high in the streams that come down from the Serra do Suído.

To get to the point from which we can observe them, we will go to Casar do Nabo and take a path that goes up to the right of the bridge over the Avia river. When it begins to gain altitude, you have to turn left and follow a path through low scrub towards a small canyon between schists called Campo de Oroso.
