This building was built in two stages. In 1875, Alejandro Rodríguez Sesmero finished three floors, including the ground floor. In 1908 Jenaro de la Fuente Domínguez added a fourth floor following the purchase of the building by Manuel Rodríguez Rodríguez. It is a simple, symmetrical construction. An interesting feature is the main facade with its central section framed by fluted pilasters with Corinthian and composite capitals. The openings are more highly decorated at the sides, where there are also some pilasters. Other decorative elements include friezes, cornices and continuous balconies at the sides, and isolated balconies in the central section.
