Apartment building for the Compañía Carbonera company designed by Jenaro de la Fuente Álvarez in 1942, commissioned by José Francisco López and Guillermo Puime. The noteworthy feature is the main door, over which a balustraded ledge was constructed, with a classical triangular pediment between the openings of the first and second floor. The decoration is completely sober, the only notable features being: decorated corbels and a pergola at the top of the building. This absence of decorative elements and the rounded forms betray a rationalist style. The building material used was fine-grain white granite, quarried in the Castrelos hills and surface-polished.
