Restored. Inside. the building has a small cloister, porticated on the lower floor, and con glazed wooden galleries on the upper. It is built in stone, wood (doors and windows); and the roof is slated. A series of rooms have been refurbished on the upper floor for a variety of cultural events: exhibitions, conferences, etc.
Leave Rubiá towards O Barco via the OR-622 road. After about 5 Km and before coming to a tunnel, turn off to the N-120, and head towards A Rúa. 1 Km ahead (more or less) take the entrance for O Barco and when we come to the first set of traffic lights (to the left we can see a petrol station), turn right towards Vegamolinos. Past this town, turn off to the left, which takes us to the Monastery of Xagoaza (there are sign posts).
