On the slopes of the Miño river canyon, the Souto Varela lake is formed, in which the Soutariz waterfall is located. To get there we take the road that goes from Chantada to Os Peares and, before entering Soutariz, we cross the Souto Varela lake. From there we will have to continue on foot and go up through an area that, although it does not present too many difficulties, is not signposted and is not recommended for traveling with children.
