Leaving
Caión, in Mañón, head towards O Couce, following the directions for the Augas Caídas viewpoint.
After
reaching the end of the road, continue on foot down some stairs to the base of
the waterfall. To view it from the other side of the river, cross the river
there or climb back up and cross the bridge at the Cubelas shelter.
You
can also walk in from the Ponte Segade, recreation area by
following the left bank of the river.
This
waterfall, also known as A Mexadoira, falls into the
River Sor from the River Seixo or Couce and is roughly 50 metres high.
