Description

The Cadós river, a tributary of the Limia river, forms several small fervenzas and rapids in the parish of Santiago de Cadós.

To get to see the main waterfall, we take the OU-1212 road that goes from Lobeira to Bande and, after 7.2 km, we take the detour to Ponte Cadós.

Right at the point where the road passes over the river we can see several waterfalls under the bridge. Between the stone pillars that we find on the sides of the road, we can see a small path that goes down to the river and that is the one we must follow.

IMPORTANT: the path is quite vertical, so you will have to go down very carefully to the river bank.
