The Xestosa brook, one of the tributaries of the River Landra, runs between Guriscado hill and the A Gañidoira mountains before flowing into the Landro in Xerdiz, Ourol. As it leaves Muras municipality, it has to cross a rocky area that forces it to twist and turn and plunge over several drops, the largest of which is 20 metres high.
To
reach this waterfall, head out from Ourol, following the old road at Penabade
where you will find the sign showing the way down through a pine forest and
then a 200-metre walk to get to the foot of the waterfall.
