From A Estrada, take the EP-7001 towards Codeseda and then continue on the PO-7102 towards Sabucedo. From here, follow the asphalted roads to the village of Fondós, in the parish of San Tomé de Quireza.

At the end of the village there is a path. This can only be traversed by a 4x4 vehicle, so we recommend parking up and continuing on foot. 

The waterfall is on the regueiro das Penizas, a small stream that rises at the top of Os Arguillóns hills, at a height of 768 metres. Follow the river up the left bank. You will see small waterfalls before you come to the main waterfall, which falls from a height of 10 metres and forms a large natural pool.
