From estuary to estuary, travelling along the Ártabro Gulf …
The train will take us from A Coruña to Ferrol through As Mariñas e Terras do Mandeo, a Biosphere Reserve. The first stop will be Betanzos, one of the capitals of the ancient Kingdom of Galicia, where you will visit its historic centre. Then you will discover the facilities of Orballo in Paderne, which has a tea plantation. The train will take you to Pontedeume, with its medieval tower and bridge, symbols of the town. The day will end in Ferrol, with a boat trip along the estuary, defended by the castles of A Palma and San Felipe, and a stroll through the Enlightenment-period neighbourhood of A Madalena.
